We develops and builds groundbreaking machines for the brands Herder, Votex, Conver en Roberine. for these brands, we produce various floating, amphibious and driving machines. HR Manager 

As an HR manager you are reasonable to implement, carry out and manage HR policies properly. Your excellent communication skills enable you to create strong and trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You are entrepreneurial and willing to explore new paths. You enjoy constantly innovating and improving things. We are looking for someone who can connect, coach and encourage, but also to have "difficult" conversations when needed.

De function:

As HR manager, you are concerned with developing people within organizations

1. You advise the management Team on leadership and organizational development, change management, talent development
2. Coordinating and arranging matters related to salary administration.
3. You implement a successful recruitment process, including outplacement, dismissal and promotion.
4. You coordinate the routing of job analysis, job descriptions, and performance reviews. Review for compliance/ completion.
5. Orientates new hires and perform necessary follow-up for new employees during the probationary period.
6. Ensures processes, procedures, employee files, and documentation meet Department of Labor and Affirmative Action guidelines. Ensures facility meets governmental requirements.
7.  Administer job evaluation programs.
8. Responds to employee questions, concerns and needs, including insurance and local procedures. Advises employees regarding company policies.
9. Coordinates the termination process and conducts exit interviews for all terminations.
10. Coordinates and administers all safety compliance programs and training.
11. Ensure fair and equitable administration of Company policies and disciplinary action for employees found to violate policies and practices.
12. Administers employee benefit programs following Company policies and practices.
13. Assists in writing, editing, implementing and interpreting company policies.
14. Supervises the activities of payroll.
15. Represent Alamo Group at local civic and human relations activities and AG corporate meetings.
16. Maintaining contacts with trade unions.
17. Developing and implementing HR strategies, tools, and solutions
18. Create, maintain and ensure that all HR policies and procedures are consistently applied throughout the business and are in line with the business values
19. Providing general HR assistance and advice

The profile: 

1. BS degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or related field required and/or HR Certificate.
2. Experience in HR/Personnel related functions required.
3. Willing to work on both production locations in Middelburg and Giessen.
4. Competent understanding of Human Resource systems and labor relations.
5. Knowledge and experience in developing and implementing programs.
6. Excellent communication skills required, both verbal and written. Ability to write effectively on Human Resource issues.
7. Excellent human relations skills.
8. Able to work independently and to plan, organize, and prioritize work.
9. Able to work overtime as needed to complete assignments.
