Due to further expansion of our activities, coupled with exciting future growth plans Alamo Group The Netherlands is seeking an Aftersales Manager to provide increased emphasis on Genuine Parts and Service support.

THE ROLE

Based at our Middelburg facility the Aftersales Manager will be responsible for managing and developing Alamo Group The Netherlands’ Parts and Service business whilst introducing an extensive dealer training program.

 TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Increasing Parts Business:
  • High level interaction with a professional municipal, agricultural and groundcare distributor network;
  • Confident presentation, promotion, and demonstration of the benefits of using Genuine Parts;
  • Assist communications between key customers and other business functions, such as Sales and Engineering;
  • Provide clear forecasts and sales plans for all key markets to support higher level company planning;
  • Development of a bespoke distributor/dealer training program for Service and Parts;
  • Identification of further growth areas for the company within key areas of responsibility, including product and new market development;
  • Confident verbal and written communications at all business levels;
  • Management of business in the region of circa €12 million turnover initially, with a view to growing this to +€15 million within three years.

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Familiar within a target driven environment;
  • Demonstrable experience of selling and marketing Genuine Parts;
  • Comfortable managing a small team of dedicated personnel;
  • Possesses sound knowledge of the Kommunal machinery sector in Central Europe;
  • Must have technical experience and be capable of ‘common-sense’ problem solving where necessary;
  • Linguistic skills including English and German are advantageous.
